Talpa Studios has strengthened its creative force by partnering with Spektr, an emerging player in innovative television formats. The first result of this exciting collaboration is the launch of the new feelgood singing show 3 Minutes of Fame on Dutch broadcaster SBS6. The partnership reflects Talpa Studios’ dedication to fostering impactful collaborations that elevate unique concepts. Spektr, known for developing original formats that reflect today’s culture, brings a fresh perspective to this collaboration, with Talpa Studios contributing its expertise in production, format development and international reach.

Talpa Studios and Hasbro Entertainment are highlighting the Trivial Pursuit format at MIPCOM for global buyers. Talpa Studios has joined forces with Hasbro Entertainment, the entertainment company that leverages Hasbro’s leading collection of iconic brands to develop and produce premium film, television, animation, and digital content for audiences of all ages, to reimagine the beloved trivia game Trivial Pursuit into a question-packed entertainment format hosted by Emmy® Award-winning actor, director, producer, and podcaster LeVar Burton (“Roots,” “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” “Reading Rainbow”). The show premiered on The CW Network on October 3rd.

Humans possess two great strengths: physical power and intelligence. But what happens when six exceptionally strong men, the ‘Muscles’, and six highly intelligent women, the ‘Brains’, join forces? Are they truly unbeatable? Dutch viewers are about to find out, in the new reality competition Muscles & Brains. The first episode of this brand-new Talpa Studios production will air on NET5 on the 28th of October. The show was recorded in the Dominican Republic as part of the creative partnership between Talpa Studios and Acun Medya. Acun Medya has already sold the format to several of its key territories, with announcements coming soon. All versions will be produced at their ACM production hub in the Dominican Republic.

Talpa Studios’ internationally successful quiz format The Floor continues to break boundaries and has now reached a new milestone: in just one and a half years, the format has been sold to 20 countries. After an impressive first year, during which The Floor set global records, five new territories have now joined the growing list of successful adaptations, solidifying its position as one of the fastest-growing formats worldwide. Recordings for multiple countries are taking place at Talpa Studios’ cutting-edge production hub in the Netherlands, ensuring the show’s high production value.

StukTV, the number one online entertainment platform for edgy and original content in the Netherlands, has announced an exclusive partnership with Videoland. This collaboration marks a significant shift for StukTV, moving from a social-first to a streamer-first strategy. As part of this new direction, several exciting (new) titles will premiere exclusively on Videoland, the biggest local streaming service in the Netherlands. Talpa Studios, the owner of the StukTV brand, will handle international distribution of these titles. Operational execution has been entrusted to its creative partner Signal.Stream, leveraging their streaming expertise and long-standing relationship with StukTV’s founders. The first title to be released on the platform is Hunting Season – Most Wanted.

This thrilling game of deception is the result of a unique collaboration between the three parties, each bringing their distinct creative expertise to the table. Following its successful first Dutch commission in the Netherlands, the producers are now gearing up to introduce the format to the United States.

Talpa Studios is thrilled to announce that its feel-good quiz Surprize Fund has been sold to Mediaset in Spain. The show will be locally titled Todos por ti and will run six episodes. The engaging and heartfelt show, which previously aired in the Netherlands, will be produced by Topanga for the Spanish market.

Following the recent announcement of a second and third season in the USA, Talpa Studios’ hit show The Floor continues its global success with recommissions in three major territories: Italy, France and Germany. Blu Yazmine will produce the show for RAI2 in Italy, and Satisfaction Group will handle production for France Télévisions. In Germany, Cheerio Entertainment will oversee production, and the show will air on SAT.1. As with the first season, the second German season will be recorded at Talpa Studios’ local production hub in the Netherlands.

Talpa Studios’ quiz show, The Quiz with Balls, is set to entertain the German viewers this summer. RTL Germany has ordered the fun game show that was produced by Cheerio Entertainment at the local production hub in the Netherlands. For the German version, titled Splash, contestants must work together as a team and answer questions, but each wrong answer gets you knocked into a swimming pool by a massive ball. Teams accumulate prize money as long as they manage to avoid getting soaked. In the end one player will battle it out in the final round for a substantial cash reward. Two celebrity specials have been recorded to get the show off to an exciting start this summer. Splash is set to air on RTL on July 17.
