Talpa Studios’ quiz show Caught in the Middle expands further as Atresmedia orders Spanish version

Spanish broadcaster Atresmedia has ordered a local version of Talpa Studios’ quiz show Caught in the Middle, to be broadcast on Antena 3. The show will be produced by Fremantle Spain in partnership with Talpa Studios and recorded later this year at Talpa Studios’ international production hub in the Netherlands. The commission adds to Talpa Studios’ growing track record with Atresmedia, following earlier adaptations including The Jump and The Quiz with Balls.

Talpa Studios’ The Alliance lands first international commission with Banijay Asia for Prime Video India

Talpa Studios’ hit reality format The Alliance has reached a major milestone: the format is set for its first international adaptation. The format is from the global content house founded by John de Mol, whose credits include creating global reality hit Big Brother. In the show, trust, strategy and social gameplay are key, as players must navigate shifting team dynamics and rising pressure. Following the previously announced collaboration between Talpa Studios and Banijay Asia, the format has now been commissioned in India. Banijay Asia will produce a Hindi-language version for Prime Video India, where the series is slated to launch globally as premium flagship content.

Talpa Studios expands global team to accelerate international expansion and partnership-driven growth

Talpa Studios appoints Marloes Sturkenboom as Managing Director Global IP, Strategy and Operations, effective April 1, 2026. Following the company’s recently announced sharpened strategy and strengthened leadership structure, her appointment bolsters Talpa Studios’ global organisation, expanding its position as a leading creator, producer and distributor of non-scripted formats. Working closely with the Global distribution team, she will deepen strategic partnerships, accelerate new business and further scale Talpa Studios’ formats worldwide.

Talpa Studios doubles down in Hungary with debut of Catch Us If You Can and second season of Most Wanted

Talpa Studios has secured two new commissions in Hungary. RTL Hungary has confirmed the local debut of the continent-spanning reality chase Catch Us If You Can and ordered a second season of Most Wanted, both co-created by Signal.Stream and Talpa Studios. The deals build on the strong collaboration between Talpa Studios, Signal.Stream and RTL Hungary, following the exceptional performances of the first season of Most Wanted in the Hungarian market. The second season, consisting of 10 daily episodes, is scheduled to premiere in 2026. Catch Us If You Can (10 daily episodes) is set to launch on RTL Hungary in 2026, with episodes also available daily on RTL+.

Talpa Studios, Kinetic Content and Signal.Stream continue creative partnership with new survival format Survive Your Family

Following the successful launch of the psychological reality game Watch Your Back, Talpa Studios, Kinetic Content and Signal.Stream teamed up again for a new format: Survive Your Family. The announcement marks the next chapter in the partnership between the three companies, building on the early momentum and international ambitions of their first joint production. Survive Your Family is a premium survival reality format that pushes physical endurance, strategy and emotional bonds to the extreme, as families are forced to make impossible choices that test trust, responsibility and loyalty. The format will premiere in the Netherlands in April on SBS6, with the Dutch production handled by Signal.Stream.

Talpa sharpens strategy and strengthens leadership structure

Talpa Studios and Talpa Network introduce a refined leadership structure from March 2, 2026, establishing a single group-wide management board while both companies continue to operate independently. The new structure strengthens momentum, innovation and efficiency across the entire content value chain. As part of this next phase, Maarten Meijs has been appointed to lead the group-wide management board, overseeing strategy and long-term development across Talpa Studios and Talpa Network. Joost Brakel will conclude his role as CEO of Talpa Network following a transition period.

Talpa Studios and Studio Lambert join forces to make The Golden Elevators in the US and UK

Talpa Studios, the global production company founded by John de Mol, introduces The Golden Elevators, a bold new psychological game format developed by the Talpa Studios creative team led by Chief Creative Officer Jasper Hoogendoorn. As part of its international launch, Talpa Studios will co-produce with Studio Lambert in two key markets, the United States and the UK. The partnership reunites Hoogendoorn with Studio Lambert, the creative forces behind the American and British versions of the phenomenally successful The Traitors.

SBS6 recommissions Talpa Studios’ The Winner Takes It All midway through season one

In the Netherlands, SBS6 has commissioned a second season of The Winner Takes It All, while the first season of the high-energy music competition is still on air. On the show, fifty singers battle it out on a spectacular LED floor, challenging each other in head-to-head singing duels until one contestant conquers the entire floor and wins €100,000. The early renewal underlines the channel’s confidence in the format, which launched with strong ratings and continues to build momentum. Casting for the upcoming second season has now officially opened.

A larger-than-life game of hide and seek: Talpa Studios and FOX Entertainment Studios introduce studio show The House of Hide & Seek

Talpa Studios announces a new creative partnership with FOX Entertainment Studios and acclaimed director-creator David Grifhorst to bring the new family entertainment format The House of Hide & Seek to life. Inspired by the classic childhood game known around the world, the series turns hide and seek into a prime time family show set entirely within an enormous, purpose-built studio environment – a unique approach that transforms the familiar game into a cinematic spectacle. Commissioned by RTL 4 in the Netherlands, The House of Hide & Seek will premiere in 2026 on RTL 4 and will be available to stream on Videoland. The partnership with FOX Entertainment Studios naturally positions the format for a potential US adaptation.
