Talpa Studios’ Most Wanted heads to Hungary

October 15, 2025 The immersive reality escape competition Most Wanted, co-created by Talpa Studios and Signal.Stream, is making its way to Hungary. RTL Hungary has acquired the rights to produce a local adaptation of the hit format, marking the second international deal for the format. Originally launched on Videoland, the format has quickly proven its appeal: in the Netherlands, a third season has already been confirmed, and in Germany, the first season on streamer Joyn had a strong debut. Most Wanted is firmly establishing itself as a proven streamer success.

Most Wanted is the second Talpa Studios format picked up by RTL Hungary, following the successful launch of The Floor. Known for its thrilling blend of strategy, survival, and suspense, Most Wanted challenges celebrity contestants to stay off the radar while being hunted down in real time.

Sebastian van Barneveld, Director Global Distribution at Talpa Studios: “It’s amazing to see Most Wanted cross another border. This proven streamer format also lends itself perfectly to linear TV as a high-impact marketing event. Hungary is a natural next step, and we can’t wait to see RTL Hungary bring its thrilling cat-and-mouse twists to life.”

About Most Wanted

In this arced competition, a group of celebrities will escape in a spectacular way from a high-security prison somewhere in the country. However, this has not gone unnoticed by the three guards, who immediately give chase. For five days, the guards chase the celebrity fugitives, who must stay out of sight without any modern conveniences. Stripped of phones, money, and resources, the fugitives must find places to sleep, eat, and travel unnoticed – all while wearing bright orange prison jumpsuits. Meanwhile, the guards have the upper hand, equipped with gadgets like GPS trackers, drones, and real-time travel information as they hunt from their mobile base, determined to capture the fugitives before time runs out. Can the famous fugitives manage to evade capture for five days, or will the three hunters outsmart them one by one?
