The search for the next festival superstar

Two coaching duos consisting of famous artists face off in a nationwide search for the next festival superstar. There’s a lot at stake: the winning talent will participate in an exclusive concert series together with the biggest names in the entertainment industry, perform at festivals, and embark on their own club tour. A prize money can’t buy. Who will rock the house? Who can electrify the audience and stand out as a big name in front of a massive audience?

Drag to explore

Along with other professionals from the music industry, the coaching duos will help viewers choose the next live sensation of the country. Unlike other talent shows, the coaches will not only focus on the best voice. It’s about the complete entertainment package: the ability to captivate the audience and bring the house down.

Each talent signs up for one of the two coaching duos. 25-30 talents are invited to perform in the studio, during the pre-auditions. A unique element of the show is the dynamic stage. During their performances, the talents receive instant feedback as the stage elevates and descends, according to what the audience and coaches think of their performance. The audience plays an active role: they participate in live voting through keycords connected to a phone with an app. This app allows them to cast their votes in real-time, directly influencing the performance outcome. To move forward, the contestant must secure at least 2 out of the 3 possible votes (both coaches and the audience).

In the Songclashes, the remaining contestants from both coaching teams face off in musical duels, with the audience deciding who advances. The semi-finals introduce industry experts, including 3 or 4 prominent bookers to help judge the performances of the 8 semi-finalists. In the semi-finals, the audience also counts as a single vote. The top four head to the live finale, where they’ll give a mini concert alongside their team captain. The viewers at home have the final say, voting in real-time to choose the winner.
