In this new talent show, it’s all about authentic voices, genuine instruments, and pure emotion. Talented singers accompany themselves on one or more instruments and perform unplugged renditions of well-known hits – without any embellishments, but with maximum impact and guaranteed goosebumps. It’s an intimate show that puts the spotlight purely on music.

A lot is at stake, as the contestants are competing for a unique opportunity that could be their breakthrough. The four best performers get to join their coach on stage during a performance – and win a concert that they will perform together at a famous theatre.
There are no auditions in Talent Unplugged: 27 carefully selected, highly talented young artists, who would love nothing more than to perform, are immediately given a stage. Each participant has specifically signed up for one of the three experienced coaches – artists themselves – who support them in everything from arrangements to perfecting every note.
Every week, the contestants take on a musical challenge in front of a 4-headed expert panel (with producers, composers and a singer), which focusses on creativity, musicality, authenticity, singing, and performance. It’s the panel who decides who deserves a place in the finale. In the finale, the remaining contestants first perform a duet with their coach, followed by a solo performance. In the end, the panel selects the winner!
